Uzbektelecom joint stock company and India’s OliveTelecommunicationPvt. Ltd. created joint venture “OliveTelecom” at "Navoi" free industrial and economic zone.

Accordingly, the shareholders conducted work on creation of joint venture at Navoi free industrial and economic zone to implement investment project “Organization of production/assembly of smartphones, tablet computers and internet devices.

At the first stage of the project, OliveTelecom JV will produce mobile and fixed phones, CDMA 450 modems and internet devices.

It is planned that the production of the goods will be localized stage-by-stage and create new jobs.
